Omaha Beach Community Inc Omaha Beach, New Zealand
Surf Lifesaving Club

Established in 1990, Omaha Beach Surf Lifesaving Club is relatively new. As an East coast beach Omaha Beach is usually fairly safe but in certain conditions it can become dangerous with big surf and rips.
The recent development at the southern end of the beach, has meant a large increase in the number of holiday homes and subsequent beach users. Omaha Beach Surf Lifesaving Club hopes to be able to man a second tower this summer at the southern end of the beach.

But we need more guards...
Especially more senior members

Please if you have done life guarding previously contact someone at the club if you could spare us a few hours a month.
Or if you have never done any life guarding before but love the beach, are reasonably fit, and care about the safety of others or are just good with engines we would like to hear from you.

Please email us if you have any queries and visit our website for up to date information about us and our activities.
